Proper Way to Remove Login From Sidebar?

I noticed the login form is hard-coded into the sidebar. Unless I’m missing an option somewhere…

Just wanted to know if there is a preferred way to remove the buddypress login form from the sidebar besides just hiding it via css.

hide with css or remove html from sidebar.php
