Question about issue in my site

    hello i would ask you about a weird bug in our site ,that when someone subscribe he find a auto friendship request from the keymaster of our wordpress , and that so scary for security coz we don’t want to share the username of keymaster(admin) , can you give me idea why that bug can be in site using buddypress …! best regards ?

    afaik, that is not standard BP behavior.
    Your install has a plugin or custom code that generates that friendship request.
    If it comes from ‘keymaster’, then it make be a bbPress feature – try asking on their support forums.

    As stated above:

    Find the offending plugin and deactivate or get a developer to find the custom code and remove.

    i guess we’ve developer working with us , has working for make that option for moderator of groups ,and he leaves and let his costumize in our site that’s so unprofessionel , now i cannot contact him , what if i deleted buddypress and install again is that can resolve the issue

    That could help, but if your “developer” left template folders in your child-theme you need to remove them manually from your server.

    You might need to completely change theme if he made it as his child-theme might be…just very bad.

    it’s resolved after deleted buddypress and our themes … and reinstall theme , just our last developer he forget code !!!
