If you mean the text: “Good people […] (Plato)”- you can remove this update from the site activity, wwhen you’re logged-in, by using:
– dashboard > activities – from here only, as site admin, you can modify the text – normal user can’t modify the text, only delete it.
or
– click on “view” below the quote (actually http://medicinalplantclub.com/activity/p/182/) on members directory or profile header
or
– click on “delete” under the activity in the front-end SWA feed
@danbp, thank you so much for your quick response. YES, that is exactly what I want to remove. I think I may have caused an additional problem. Before posting, I clicked on view and saw the post, so I deleted it. Unfortunately, I believe I was signed in as another user because I cannot find it in the locations you mentioned.
I have same problem (and I’m admin).
The link, when i click on it (/activity/p/0/) gives me a 404.
What gives? And what to do?
Thanks in advance.
re-save permalinks and make sure there is a activity directory page.
the /activity/p/0/ seems incorrect, it should be /activity/p/123 (not 0 )
Hi @ripulkr
Thanks for speedy reply.
Permalinks saved multiple times, no change.
There is an activity-page, showing latest activity from all members (that is what you meant, I presume?).
That’s what it says – /activity/p/0/
I get that when I press the “Show”-link, right after the quote under my profilename.
I have had the thought, that it is a leftover from a deleted plugin, possibly. But can’t for the life of me guess what plugin and why I can’t access that part of my profile.
