Hi,

I’m new to buddypress and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I cant log in to my wordpress dashboard after activating the plugin, it keeps redirecting me to the members where I can’t login to wordpress. The plugin came bundled with a theme from themeforest called Thrive. Please help!

I’m using wordpress version 4.7.5 and BuddyPress 2.8.2.

Sorry if you already tried this, but let me suggest:

Rename the Buddypress folder – it will disable the Buddypress plugin.

If Buddypress is causing the problem, this should at least let you get back into your dashboard.

Assuming this is the case, then you will be able to delete Buddypress the proper way, via “Plugins.”
