Register issues – Looping

Hi. I have been stuck with same issue for over two weeks now and cannot resolve a member registration issue. I have a registration page with original short-code embedded, however, when people go to register as new user the it wont accept them. I have a few hundred members, and then it died. I have no idea why. Suggestions please?

Hello there. BuddyPress doesn’t use a shortcode–a register page just need to exist and be identified. Could you be using some other plugin?

Otherwise, double-check that the register page is properly associated at wp-admin > settings > buddypress.
