On the ‘domain.com/register’ page the error checking isn’t working, so if someone types in a Username with uppercase letters or has another type of error and press ‘complete sign up’ there is no error messages that pop up. This is on a custom theme, on the default theme the red error messages are popping up just fine.

Is there anyway to allow people to have uppercase Usernames? Or better yet automatically convert all usernames typed in (during login or registration) to lowercase so people don’t have to worry about casing when logging in or registering?
