Would you have a site url I could look at? Are you running any additional plugins? what’s your theme?
Hi Venutius,
Thanks for responding. It was an issue before I started running any additional plugins. The theme I’m running is “Twenty Fifteen” Version: 1.9.
Here are login details:

Very much appreciate you giving the time!
I notice the registration form does not ask for the BuddyPress username, only the WordPress username. have you changed anything from the default to make it this way? That login does not seem to work.
I haven’t changed anything and experienced a similar issue on another site, which had no additional plugins installed.
If I were you I’ve deactivate all plugins except BuddyPress to see if you still have the issue. I’ve got a test site running 2015 and bp and here it works so it seems that it’s something specific to your site.
I’ve just tried that and still no luck. Any other suggestions on what might be causing the problem?
You could check the Register page is set correctly in Dashboard>>Settings>>BuddyPress>>Pages. There should be a dropdown there to select the register page you wish to use. It should be set automatically though.
Thanks for your advice, Venutius. I’ve subsequently deleted that domain, hoping that starting afresh might help — it hasn’t. The new domain login details are:
URL: http://cloud4events-sandbox.pitchbite.co/wp-admin/
User: developer
Password: %L3$h6653!ULifyP(26!eC2
There are no plugins installed and the theme is still is “Twenty Fifteen” Version: 1.9. I’m desperate to get this fixed as soon as possible. Hopefully, we’ll find a solution.
Appreciate the support!
The login’s not working unfortunately
Ok I’m in.
You should change that password now I’ve had access.
I can see what the problem is, your Base Profile field looks to be corrupt. It’s duplicated and does not have the required Name field. I added this field to one of the profile fields and it still did not show up.
So basically your profile field settings are corrupt in your database. As I see it there are two ways forward:
1. Delete wordpress entirely including the Database and start again.
2. Try to recover your Database by manually editing it.
Given it’s a test site and you are not experienced I suggest option 1 is the best way forward.
It would be good to know exactly what happened to get this error, technically it should not happen.
Thanks! Agreed. I’ve contacted my hosting provider as it must be an issue with the database, considering I’ve just deleted everything and started again on a totally separate domain. Hopefully, I’ll hear something from them soon.
I will change the password now. I’m very grateful to you, Venutius.
You are welcome, good luck.
