Registered members on my website can’t create topics on forums but admins and guests(non-registered members) can see the create new topic option hence are able to create topics. All settings have been checked. I’ve done resets, repairs and fresh installs but issue still persist. I’d appreciate some great help.

    Website is https://clicksnlikes.com/

What forum software are you using?

Yes, i’m using bbpress 2.6.9 with wordpress 6.1 and socialize theme Version: 2.40.2. But it’s not the theme because i tried it with different themes and registered users still can’t create topics.

On Forum Settings page, alongside “Roles”, what info is showing?

    Automatically give registered visitors the
    Participant forum role
Uncheck this to manually assign all user access to your forums.(This is checked).

ps: I can give you assess for a while, if you’d want to check it out.

ok, if you go to WP Admin -> Users -> All Users , you should see a column headed “Forum Role”.
The users who are unable to create new topics, do they all have “Participant” showing in this column?

Yes, it’s still the same. Changed forum roles to check if it will work but same issue.

You can try this repair tool:

WP Admin -> Tools -> Forums

then choose the option at the bottom of list:

“Remap all users to default forum roles”

IMPORTANT: if your site is live, do a DB backup before you run these repair tools.

And if that does not help, probably best to try the deactivate/reactivate plugins one by one method, as suggested elsewhere.

Btw, what message do registered users get when viewing forums? Any info?

Plugins deactivated but still thesame issue. I tried the remap but it didn’t solve any issues either.

Message received by registered users: Oh, bother! No topics were found here.
    You cannot create new topics.

    No custom code snippets active?

Any role editor/creator plugins used at any point?

Same issues Michaelabf. At this point I’ve exhausted everything bit of knowledge and i just want to deactivate the plugin and look for another alternative. Thanks so much.
