Reinstalling BBPress…What Does It Effect?

I just need some information on reinstalling bbpress. Based on the response to my last post the other day by Gibbs, I had a bbpress loading issue that should’ve been resolved by specifying the correct path (after the original url path was changed), but I verified that none of my old path names existed, and my group forums still didn’t load.
So I figured that I have to reinstall bbpress…but what does it effect? Will it effect the layout/customization of any of my files? I only have one group created with one forum topic and that’s all. If it’s a matter of my having to recreate the group and start a new topic, then it would be worth it.
The answer to this question is important, because I’m going to have to change my url again.
