Remove "All Members" tab in Activity?

We are running WordPress 3.7.1, BuddyPress 1.8.1, and a child theme of iBuddy. We want to be able to remove the “All Members” tab in the main Activity stream. The site we’re using is only for teens, but we will supply the site URL only if a need to do so arises.

    Hi @djouonanglandry,

Thanks for wanting to help users find solutions to enhance or fix their BuddyPress sites but I must ask that you not reply to users topics with requests for payment in exchange for your services.

This forum is volunteer based, the users here help each other out as BuddyPress is open source and free to use. Volunteer support is a way for the users to give back to the project.

You can however reply to paid support requests:
    https://buddypress.org/support/forum/bp-jobs-board
    http://jobs.wordpress.net

Or try one of the many freelance sites.

@mattg123 We tried this, and it makes the tab invisible, but posts that match the criteria (even posts from people who are not the user’s friends) are showing up. We would like to prevent users from viewing these posts at all in the Activity page.

@monster1612 I see, you said “remove” so I assumed you just wanted to hide it, you want all activity hidden from anyone who isn’t a friend?

@mattg123 Yes, we wanted to hide all activities associated with the “All Members” tab that does not involve the user’s friends. I apologize for not stating this.

@monster1612 oh, it was my fault for misreading really – your going to want to look at bp_has_activities and specifically activity>activity-loop pretty sure buddypress.org has documentation on creating custom activity loops
