I’m using a plugin that needs to know my users birthdays, so I set up a profile field with a datebox for that, but my users are asking that the year they were born not show up on their public profiles.

Is there a way to edit out the year just on the public profile pages? I still need users to fill in the year when they register so that the birthday plugin will work.
