Removing 'Avatars' title from Recently Active Member Avatars

Due to widget title length constraints I would like to remove the Avatar bit from the title of some of the default included widgets of buddypress. Where would I look to modify this code?

Can be changed via language file:

Or via core file, but I’m not going to tell you how!
