BuddyPress.org

I’ve installed Buddypress 1.2.3 on WPMU 2.9.2 and am having a great experience so far, except for the fact that earlier this evening a whole section of a conversation I was having with a student disappeared. He posted a question onto the wire (if that’s what the status update component is called), which I responded to and which led to an interesting conversation. When I recently checked for a final response from him, the whole middle section had disappeared, and which neither he nor I had deleted.

Is this a common problem, a bug or some random glitch? I’m using this as a platform for my PhD research into social networks in higher education and if this is something that’s going to be happening to my data, I need to be aware of it (as well as know how to fix it).

Any advice or suggestions would be most appreciated.
