at my BP-install (version 1.2.1), there is a button which says ”Reply” on Forum-posts. So this Reply-button is actually a Activity-Comment on a Forum-post.

I do not see this button at testbp.org anymore. Has there been an update since BP 1.2.1

I mean: it is great that this ”Reply-Button” disappeared on Forum-posts !

But I am wondering why it is still there at my own install BP 1.2.1 ?

In the admin you can turn off commenting on forum and blog posts in the activity stream.
