Reply in Messages are duplicated

Hi, I am running WordPress 3.5 and BuddyPress 1.6.3.
My issue that I when I respond to a message it becomes duplicated (see image). I have deactivated all plugins and can´t seem to figure out what I have done to cause this.

I should note that I deactivated the template pack and went to the default and still had this issue.
any thoughts?
