reply to a reply crashing safari

can anyone tell me why when i click on a reply to a reply safari just closes, crashes? here is what safari crash report says

Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-threadany advice would be appreciated i have verified this doesn’t happen on firefox ….running latest buddypress and replying to any of the main activity posts works …just when you reply to a reply it crashes
