…did anyone had success with running it with wpmu/buddypress?

Any plans to develop wpmu version? If not – any hints how I could fix it to work propetly with wpmu?

you can try my plug in to invite friends. I don’t use openinviter because it use a scraper to get friends, while use API of provider. It is aviable on buddypress-it and buddypressdev.
