Require Login/Registration to View Profile (That's Sorted) Help displaying msg

Hello,
I was able to restrict guest users from view the members and groups pages…. however the problem I am having is that it is so bringing them to the register.php and there is no indication of why they have been directed there. I have followed the previous forum post on securing components. I was able to get the restriction put in place but for the life of me I cannot get the message to display.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me out!
