Is there something that I am missing? I have installed bbPress via the settings feature and then assigned the approrpiate pages. I can see my test post in the recent posts widget i added, but when I go to http://bscdeveloper.com/erectorsqaure/forums I get a completely blank page. If I click on a forum post from the recent posts widget, however, I can see the post and any replies.

Is there something wrong with the global forum index? Is there any way around it?? The community I am building heavily relies on forums and discussion.

If it doesn’t work is there a another forum plugin (paid or not) that I can install that will work the same as the bbpress global? *I have no need for groups or group forums.

Ohh Ohh Ohh I figured it out. I had read NUMEROUS posts across this site and the bbpress forum and all of them basically said “well they don’t work well together so you need to hack it together”.. but even those hacks didnt work.

Guess what, a simple shortcode and BAM! It works.

All I had to do was add [bbp-forum-index] in the proper page and there you have it. YAY FOR ME>
