[Resolved] Get rid of ’register’ on right SideBar but keep Right SideBar, Register already on Nav

On the nav bar at the top it does show login and register, which is what I want – and it works with good security and user options. BUT On the right Sidebar it also shows a register at the top – above all of my 7 text widgets. I don’t want this ‘register business’ in the right Sidebar, but I want to KEEP my right Sidebar with all my text widgets..

Then all you need to do is open the sidebar file and edit the register and login section i.e remove it should start with if( bp_get_signup_allowed() ) and ends with:
`

register link and form markup…

`

you remove from the first line to and inc last line above.

if those don’t exist exactly then you are running a customised theme and will need to look at the bp-default sidebar for this code so you can recognize it and then scan through your themes sidebar for same .
