[Resolved] Show ”Cancel Friendship” in Friends List?

Is it possible to display a “cancel friendship” button next to each friend in the user’s friends list?

From what I can see, the friends list on a user’s profile is generated by members/members-loop.php and the add/cancel friendship buttons are generated by “ but the button (it would only be ‘Cancel Friendship’ obviously) doesn’t show up in the user’s Friends list (friends.php – which calls members-loop.php).

take a look at this
https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/2780

it is fixed in 1.3 branch but not in 1.2 branch. You can modify the the friends-template tag or just hook to the filter to correct it.

I wouldn’t recommend modifying the template tag, as you will lose changes, and you can’t make an error in that file.

In that case, you can always put this in the functions.php/bp-custom.php and it will fix the issue

`
add_filter(‘bp_get_add_friend_button’, “friend_fix_bp_button_bug”);

function friend_fix_bp_button_bug($button){
if($button==’is_friend’)
$button=false;
return $button;
}
`
