[Resolved] Stopping new pages appearing as links on the main page

    Hi,
I’m in the process of setting up a new Buddypress (1.6.1) social network/language learning website. A problem i’ve had is that, when I create a new page for my website (within Dashboard/Pages/Add New) it adds itself as one of the main links (i.e. along with Groups, Home etc). I’ve tried making it a child page of another but this didn’t stop it. Essentially, I just want a random page which I can link to within Buddypress, but without it being explicitly visible of its own accord.

    Thanks!

Ginger – and sorry if I haven’t RTFM sufficiently :(

Go to Apearance > Menus in the admin and create a menu. Choose what you want.

Thank you. I’ve set up my menus within the Menu system. Two problems:
    1) When I select Primary Navigation as “Home” (one of my pages) within Theme Location on the Menu page the only menu I see on my website is the first one (if I don’t select this, it’s just the old menus generated automatically by the pages i’ve set up).
    2) I can’t seem to order the menus and for some reason it keeps putting my “groups” menu at the front.
