[Resolved] Upgrade to 1.6 Issues: 404 for some core files and a fatal error

Issue 1 – 404 for core files, which are missing from the downloaded package:

GET wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/css/admin.css?ver=20110723 404 (Not Found) admin.php:51
GET wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/js/update.js?ver=20110723 404 (Not Found) admin.php:54
GET wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/images/admin_menu_icon.png 404 (Not Found)

Issue 2 – Fatal error message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare bp_core_install() (previously declared in wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/admin/bp-core-update.php:1107) in wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/admin/bp-core-schema.php on line 49

The files in “Issue 1” were renamed/moved in 1.6. Try clearing your browser’s cache and see if it stops requesting the files. If it continues requesting them, on which page are you testing this on?
