Restrict Site-Wide Activity to Show Only Comments Made There

I’m really hoping someone can help me figure this out.
I’m trying to get Site-Wide Activity feed to only show the comments (and replies to those comments) that people specifically make on the Site-Wide Activity feed, and not show all the updates/activities of the entire site.
In other words, I’m trying to restrict/filter enough out so it essentially becomes shout box/chat.
