Restrict User to join BP Groups

Is it possible to restrict user to join specific buddypress group? I am using BP Group Hierarchy Plugin and dont want users to join the site root groups.

See if you can do something with 2nd plugin mentionned in topic. If not able, you have to ask for on Group Hierarchy support.

We only support BuddyPress here.

@danbp thanks for your reply. Have already checked that plugin but I can’t get it to work with latest bp install

I tried using BP Group Hierarchy Plugin and bp group announcement plugin to not allow users to join. Don’t require this 2 plugins per se on my bp site.

Any inputs plz
