Search for nearby users

I’m looking for a plugin and/or a buddypress developer to help create a search nearby function for users.
We’ve created a required zip code field during registration that we’d like to have a search nearby function to locate other members nearby.
Anyone have any ideas, thoughts, existing code? Any help would be appreciated.
