Showing avatar on group pages when sorting alphabetically

I making all the sort pages look the same, but I have found that when sorting alphabetically, the avatar image doesn’t show.
In my members-loop, I already have:
<?php bp_group_member_avatar_thumb(); ?>Is there something else I should be doing?
I’m running:
Wordpress 4.0
Buddypress 2.1.1
