Some members cant post?

Just recently launched my site and noticed I have 29 members under the admin panel and then only 19 are on the site under the member section. I assume some have not confirmed there accounts and thats why they do not show on site under members but one specifically has emailed me saying they cant post under the forum section but can leave comments on the homepage blog post

Any ideas/

Assuming those aren’t spammer user accounts, they need to log in to your site at least once after BuddyPress has been installed to show up.

But how come the one user is able to leave a comment under a blog post but says they cannot leave a comment in the forum section?

If he commented, shouldnt he be displayed in the member section on the site? when he only can be found on the backend under users?
