Some tags in Tag Cloud Widget stopped working

I have installed Buddypress on my WordPress 2.9.2.
In my blog I use standard WP Cloud Tag widget and some tags in it stopped working.
When users click on them, they are redirected to homepage.I have reviewed these non-working tags and have come to a conclusion that these are the tags that coincide with the names of Groups.
Example: we have a tag “BandA”, then someone makes a group “BandA” and the tag “BandA” stops working. We also have a tag “BandB” and someone creates a group “BandB fans” and the tag “BandB” works.
Any ideas how to fix this?
