Hi- I’m new to buddypress so i apologise for the basic question.

I’ve got everything installed fine but I’m getting a lot of spam registration and group creation.

I’ve loaded Si Captcha and it doesn’t fix the problem.

There is a lot of help listed through google. Do you recommend any particular articles or do you have an official work through list of fixes? I gotta stop the spam! Where do i start?

Wangguard worked for me for a while but spammers started slipping through the cracks. A great plugin (which you can use in conjunction with wanngguard) is recaptcha:

It works with BP 1.9 and WP 3.8 (confirmed, using it, loving it)
