On the about page (http://buddypress.org/about/), under the section “An Overview”, the word “independent” is misspelled. It’s spelled “independant.” When I see something like that it always makes me stop in my tracks and wonder if anyone is copy-editing the content or if there is a spell-check capability built-in.
