Stop redirect to dashboard

I just installed and activated BuddyPress on my MU site running 2.8.4a. The install seemed to go ok, but I cannot get to the front page of any of my other blogs I just get redirected to the dashboard page of any blog. I disabled the plugin so my users could get to their blogs.
