Strange BP/WPMU Problem

I’m having a problem and can’t seem to figure this out. First:

in my admin section there are two ways to view the users. One is through the site admin section where it takes me to:
    wp-admin/ms-users.php

The other is a section titled “Users” lower down on the admin page: Clicking users through there takes me to:

    wp-admin/users.php

The two (ms-users.php and users.php) do not agree. users.php has less listed than ms-users.php. That’s the first odd thing

    The other odd thing is:

I have contributors to my site. When a contributor logs in, some can see the main site on the horiztonal admin bar at the top of the site. Others only see “create a blog” and there is no link to the main site for them.

Any ideas of what is going on? The site is http://thefertilityblogs.com
    Thanks!

Your first issue is by design. The Site (Super if you’re on WP 3.0) Admin > Users option only appears when you activate Network mode (or are running WPMU). It shows everyone with an account on your installation. The Users > Users panel only shows accounts that have a user role on your blog (Subscriber, Contributor, etc). That list won’t show accounts that signed up through BP and thus don’t have any role on your main blog.

Not sure about the second issue. You have a screenshot?

The answer to this question could possibly solve my 2nd problem:

Is there a way to convert someone who signed up through PB into a WPMU user?
