Where can we download the latest version? a SVN version?

Is it possible to have current testversion 1.1?

You can find the svn URL on the downloads page. I strongly recommend that you do not run the ‘trunk’ version; support would not be given but bug reports/patches/discussion most welcome.

I think the latest test version is here, but apparently Buddypress 1.1 will be released next week, so it may not be worth the hassle to install the test version.
