Tagging Friends In Buddypress

    I am using the newest version of buddypress and using the TruePixel premium theme of which I had have great success with..I have been working with buddypress and all has been going really well but ran into a stumper on a course through Udemy I was doing in which the instructor was going through tutorial part on “tagging” friends…I was unable to accomplish that…I figured out through the course that he was most likely using an older version of buddypress although I was stil able to follow through the tutorial even though the newest version of buddypress may have been set up a little different…I am just wondering on the newest version of buddypress 2.3.4..how do I do the tagging option of which I couldn’t get to work….any help would be greatly appreciated….Thanks, Rhonda

    Are you sure he wasn’t using a tagging plugin? Alternatively he could have been referring to @-mentions.

    For example, this @bahamamom66 is an @-mention which kind of “tags” you.

    I’ve not seen a tagging plugin for Buddypress, I think the @Username option must be it.

    Thanks you all…sorry just now getting back…I had a major life circumstance come up and wasn’t able to get to my work….I appreciate all of your answers!! Rhonda
