Theme broke after upgrade to 1.1.3

Hi,
I updated my Buddypress and WordPress MU install to the newest versions. After updating to BuddyPress 1.1.3 (from 1.0RC1) I got some errors in custom code since some of the functions and classes changed. No big deal there, that was easily fixable.
I do however, have encountered many problems in functionality that has been changed in the new Buddypress version. For example, I can’t seem to alter group information, post messages to a user’s wire (there is no wire anymore?), click the alphabet letters in the different listings etcetera.
Has this functionality been removed/changed on purpose? Is it possible to use this old functionality without completely rewriting my custom theme?
