Topping up an ‘account balance’ and selling intangible goods

Hello, I’m in the process of developing a website and am hoping to come across a solution for what I am trying to achieve as I work through this. The site is currently using WP, buddypress and s2member. I have managed to integrate buddypress and s2member well, and can do ‘buy now’ type transactions as well as subscriptions etc.
What I need, however, is a plugin/solution that allows a user to actually have an ‘account balance’ rather than just pay for a one off thing as they see it. So they might be able to load say, $20 onto their account and then we can deduct that money accordingly as they use our service.
Has anyone seen this sort of thing before? Essentially, it’s like your skype balance or jajah balance or the like. I’m hoping this is possible within WordPress!!
