translation file name and path

    Hi,
    I’m having trouble with my buddypress theme translation and doing everything to fix it.

    A thread here: http://buddypress.org/support/topic/forum-language/
    suggestst that the translation file path should look like this: wp-content/languages/buddypress-it_IT.mo

    I wonder if that’s correct. Especially, should the translation file be named as buddypress-it_IT.mo? I mean if my language was german, then should it be buddypress-de_DE.mo?
