Trunk And Profiles, Database

    I need to update 1.1 Beta to the latest trunk in order to kill the ability of subscribers bypassing required registration fields. However, I want to be sure the profiles of current members are retained, as well as the overall database. What steps should I take to prepare for upgrading to the latest trunk? Thanks.

    I’d definitely backup the database first.

    If you are already using Beta1.1 and just want to update to the newer trunk version, overwriting files and visiting the site admin area should be sufficient, but as always listen to what Andrea_r says and back-back-back it up. :D
