Turn off Auto-Activation Email, etc.

Is it possible to suppress the activation email from sending and is it possibel to edit the “Check Your Email To Activate Your Account” message, upon successful registration?

I’m looking to manually activate accounts once they are confirmed via another database. There is no integration, so it will be manual. Investigating, at least!

I found a plugin for this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-disable-activation-reloaded/

Now, i just need to edit the post-registration landing page. If anyone can point me to this, I’d be grateful.
