[Resolved] Unable to crop Profile pictures

Hi to you all,

Currently I am with a problem I have seen before on this forum, but the suggestions / Solutions do not seem to help me out. As in the title of this topic you can see that I am having troubles with cropping the Profile picture. My troubleshooting steps so far:

1. Upgraded both buddypress and WordPress to their latests stable version
2. Checked php-gd on the server — > Installed and seems to be working fine according my php-info page
3. Disabled all the other plugins on the WordPress installation. It still is not working

I have the issue on two instances but they are exactly the same installation. Same server, same plugins etc. etc.

Here are the two instances:

I hope one of you guys can help me out as soon as possible.. (always.. ;))

and same (premium)theme… ! Have you tested with Twenty Thirteen ?

Do you use a child-theme ?

Hi Dan,

Sorry for my late reply but I have been busy in trying to reproduce the error. And I have been succesfull. I am using some elements from Kendo UI on the Website which is using the next jquery library:
http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.9.1.min.js.

This I put in the header of the site…

Disabling that library the cropping is working fine.. but the Kendo UI elements are not working anymore. I know of course that this has nothing to do with you guys.. but nevertheless would you be able to give a suggestion on how to solve that?

I have never used kendo, so i can’t help you about how it works, or not, with BuddyPress or with your theme.

But you can deregister a script or add more scripts into the theme…

Hi dan,

Thanks for your reply! I ended up taking away the kendo UI as I could reproduce the visual and functionality with Bootstrap, native in the worpress theme..

That was indeed the solution!
