undefined function in bp-core-avatars.php

    I tried uploading the BuddyPress beta version.

    I got the following error message on ALL pages when I upload the plugins to mu.plugins:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function site_url() in /home/blogpeor/public_html/wp-content/mu-plugins/bp-core/bp-core-avatars.php on line 18

    Any thoughts?
