Upload directory not working

    Hi Everyone:
    Non-admin users trying to upload images at /community posts but are getting “Server Error. Upload directory is unwritable”. I checked the file permissions and made sure 777 with correct ownership, but still users are getting the same error.

    Admins are able to upload images up (in the backend)…so the uploader is working but admins are also getting the error when trying /community uploader.

    Please help.

    What is community ?
    A page you have assigned to some BP component?

    yes… it is where users can post comments and upload images..

    as admins, we are able to create pages and upload images fine but get the error message when we go try to upload an image with a post comment…

    I think you are referring to the activity component.
    If so, by default, uploading images is not a core function.
    If you are using some other plugin to add that functionality, then you should contact the creator of that plugin with your problem.
