Upload don't work

BP Rev2691 @ WP MU 2.9.11

I have a problem with upload Avatars in new groups.

Error: “The uploaded file could not be moved to the upload folder.”

It only runs later when I manually set the rights although they are already set to 777

But the owner and the group are other: wwwrun/www

Usually they are: root/root

sorry, i can’t edit my first post.

That is, bp created a folder where owner and group are wwwrun/www .

But there I can not upload anything.

What can i do to fix it?

Change the ownership of the folders.

Ok, i have moved my bp@wpmu installation to a new server configuration.

Now it works.
