Upload Failed! Error Message on signing up for this account on this site which i would think would h

When i tried to upload an avatar i get this – Upload Failed! Error was: Unable to create directory /home/buddypress/public_html/wpmu/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/avatars/6918834. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

This is an unhelpful thread. Avatars uploads do not and have never been intended to be supported on BuddyPress.org. Use a gravatar if it matters to you.
