Use “Jetpack publicize” to publish activity updates

Hi, I would like to publish all the activity updates to my social accounts. I think that could use Jetpack for do this. To do that I need to know:
Are activity updates a wordpress custom posts types? Which is the name of the activity custom post type? (My goal is do this: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-use-jetpack-publicize-with-buddypress-activity-updates?replies=2#post-7213768 )
If the activity updates are not custom post types: Do you know a way to automatically share an activity update?
