Use Username as Slug in URL?

    I’m building a site and importing 200 users, and I’m noticing that BuddyPress is building the members’ URLs (profiles) using their first names. I have 5 users with the first name of “Brian” and all five of them link to the /brian page from the Members directory. They have usernames like briane, briand, briant, etc. and they are unique. How do I change where their pages live? Thanks!

    BuddyPress 2.7.4 on WP 4.7.2

    Does anyone know? I have 6 users with Brian as their first name, and each of their URLs points to the same profile. They have different usernames (briane, brianb, briand, brianl, briant, and brianh) so that would be the logical choice for URLs/users/IDs. Help? I can’t seem to get this fixed.

    Never mind, turns out my user import didn’t go as well as it should have.
