Username and Displayname same thing?

    Hi All,

    I’m using Buddy Press. When a user signs up, they are asked to put in a username and a display name. Both are required fields. However, this can be confusing for users.

    Therefore, how can I stop buddy press from requiring both of these fields? The username, which will also be the display name – will suffice.

    BuddyPress Usernames Only

    This plugin overrides display names across your BuddyPress site with usernames. The plugin will make your BP install more intuitive and user-friendly when using the @mentions feature
