username hidden

I want to disable activity streams but when I do that, the username gets hidden on the user’s profile. https://ibb.co/mbRshQ1 Is there a way to show the username on their profile like it used to? https://ibb.co/VgSm6vY
I also have a verification badge plugin that I hope can be compatible with whatever solution there is.
