Using ROOT of a SUBDOMAIN

    I have been reading the documentation and implementation guides and it says to not install BuddyPress in a subdirectory. Question, can I install BuddyPress in the root of a subdomain? If I have a site called MyDomain.com and a subdomain of buddypress.mydomain.com will BuddyPress work?

    I have NOT installed BuddyPress yet as I want to make sure it is a successful implementation first try.

    Yes it will! I have a WordPress install on a subdomain and BuddyPress works absolutely fine.
